About

I am Allison Ball.

I am a physical therapist who specializes in women’s wellness and pelvic health in the DFW Metroplex. I love Jesus, my husband, and my dog with all of my heart.

My passion for women’s wellness began while I was completing my degree in Health Science Studies at Baylor University and flourished during my time achieving my Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Hardin Simmons University.

I have found that there is a significant lack of education and advocation for the wellness of women. This finding developed from my own experiences battling PCOS and Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, but also from listening to my patients’ feelings of hopelessness due to a lack of resources, lack of support, and the lack of an opportunity to make a truly informed decision.

These experiences spurred me to open my own physical therapy practice and start this blog! My hope is that this blog can be a source of trustworthy information, and a safe space where women can learn that they are not alone.

Will I have all the answers? No. But answers come from the start of a conversation, from investigative questions, and from the determination to discover. My goal to facilitate that process, answer the questions I can, and provide a spring board for uncovering new resources.

So what are you waiting for… dive in and start pursuing your wellness journey here.
